Lucy Workshop Preview, Layout #2!

The fun I am having with the "Lucy" Kit from Close to my Heart continues! Here is the 2nd layout we will create at class.

Lucy Layout #2: Pictures= 1 H 5x7, 3 V 4x6, 1 H 3x4
The pink and green color scheme was perfect for scrapbooking my daughter's 1st Birthday! She wore a green and pink dress!

We will be using the colorful and glittery rub ons as quick accents on these pages! I used flowers in mine, but you could also use butterflies. The trick to rub ons is to be careful not to press anywhere that is not the piece you want to transfer. The set comes with a little wooden stick that you can use to press in tiny circle swirls against the transfer sheet of the item you are rubbing on. Once it is transfered it feels almost like a part of the paper! It is pretty neat!

We will also use two styles of zip strips on this page! We will use the giggle definition strip as a border under our rub-on accent space. Along the vertical side of the left page we will use the yellow lace zip strip. We will contour cut the scallop edge with our micro-tip scissors.
